Summer in Gold Hill, Oregon

Our reservations on Alaska Airlines have been made. The pooch has had all of her shots and has her travel papers. We are ready to go. Its a blessing to have everything that we need already in Oregon and if it were not for the terrier and all of the pills we have to take we would be boarding the flight empty handed. as it is we will have Phoebe in her little carry-on bag and another small back pack with pills and camera.

Both of our dear friends Rosa and Javier will be with us for the summer. With them overseeing the joint we do not have to worry about anything. Chuck and Patty are back from Hawaii and it will be just like old times again. We spoke with them yesterday and they reported that all of my roses have been consumed by the overabundance of deer this year.

We will be blessed to have some of our new Overlook friends come out for visits. Jane and I can hardly wait to show them this very special part of the country.
